A permanent international showplace with 18 attractions, 13 exhibits, 29 food locations, and 60 merchandise locations whichd on October 1, 1982, consists of two major areas: Future World and World Showcase. Future Worldd with six themed areas focusing on discovery and scientific achievements. Major adventures and their sponsors: Spaceship Earth, AT&T; Universe of Energy, Exxon; World of Motion, General Motors; Journey into Imagination, Kodak; The Land, Nestle USA; and EPCOT Computer Central, Unisys (now closed). Innoventions (replaced EPCOT Computer Central, 7/1/1994).
World Showcased with nine nations surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon. These nations were Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, the United States of America, Italy, Germany, China, and Mexico.
