Why invest in Disney?
Disney is the world's largest entertainment company on the planet. They are spread out into every major entertainment industry from Broadway Musicals to Cruises. They continue to expand, which drives up their profit, which in turn, drives up the value of their stock.
I am a stock holder in Disney. I bought 4 shares (this is all that I could afford. Keep in mind that I am still in High School) in December of 1995. The cost per share was around $60. By the next December, the price had risen to over $100 per share. that is a $40 gain on each share in only 12 months!! If I would have purchased 1,000 shares of stock in December 1995, and sold them in December 1996, I would have made a profit of over $40,000!!
