Hello, and welcome to the 1999 Greatest Disney Website Election. This is the 3rd annual Disney website election, and there are many new features for 1999.
Unlike the elections in the past, the 1999 Greatest Disney Website Election will be made up of three phases. The first phase is the nomination phase. In this phase, sites will be nominated for the Election. This phase will last for most of the year. The second phase will only last 1 week. During this phase, the top 25 Disney Sites that were nominated will be tallied and the added to the final phase. In the final phase, which will last 1 month will be when the "real" voting takes place. During this phase, visitors will be shown a list of the 25 sites, and they will choose which one they wish to vote for. When this phase is complete, the 10 sites with the most votes will be contacted. The site with the most votes will be named "The Disney Website of the Millenium."
Also, unlike other "elections," the Greatest Disney Website Election offers REAL PRIZES! The first place site will receive 125,000 free impressions on the Disney Banner Network ($125 value). The second place site will receive 75,000 ($75 value) free impressions, and the the third place site will receive 50,000 ($50 value) impressions.
